Mulberry Pie on a New Year's Day

The sharpness of the mulberry contrasts nicely with the sweetness of the custard. There. I just proved anyone can be a "Master Chef" judge ;)

 Other than watching "Master Chef" reruns on BBC Iplayer I did get to visit Oxford Street.
 Many shops are coming and going at the moment......

    I've only seen Master Chef America. Saw bits of the first but more of the second. I love that show.

    She is a massive fan of Master Chef and has met two of the judges who kindly signed a food magazine she had bought :) Master Chef professionals was incredible this year.

    Michele Roux and Gregg Wallace. Roux was a gentleman apparently.
