French Snails

Not sure I could muster up the courage to eat one of these shelled creatures....

£7 for a pack of 12! I could get you 100 free from the pavement outside on a warm rainy day!

    Lots of garlic butter and they're alright. Haven't had snails in 20+ years!
    I believe snails sold for food have been raised in controlled conditions. But then again, they're from France, so I'm probably wrong.

    Happy Whisk:Fresh snails! I think that's supposed to make them sound more appetising!

    James:Someone told me that snails only taste of the flavouring.

    Love the thought of organically raised snails!
