Thought I would try to be a bit posh and give the burger option a miss this time.
I instead shared a platter of antipasto with a good friend. What is antipasto you ask? It means "before the meal" or in other words the cheapest thing on the menu if you can't afford the mains.
It was quite exquisite-sun dried tomatoes, sour capers, aubergine relish, olives and soft bread to mop up the olive oil residue. Very delicious indeed. You don't need to dine out to enjoy a fine plate of antipasto. You can just pop down to your local supermarket and plunder the can and jar section.

  1. Sometimes they can be wonderful. But other times, uck. No good. I got one once and I thought they had to be joking. Nothing but crap and, some of the stuff smelled off.

Glad yours was not the case.
