Petits Fours

These were petits fours (mini-cakes) which I bought from the local French patisserie in my high street here in the UK. They were very sweet, but delicious! The cake above was soaked in rum. Hence, it is in a plastic container. Really nice!

The yellow mini-cake was peach. Very smooth and gelled to the pastry with rum.
The chocolate was creamy and smudgy.
The rasperry cake was fine. I in particular relished the custard the rasperries were inbedded in.
