Cupcakes baked this evening



They took 20 minutes to cook. You have to watch them as they can burn just befeore being taken out.

  1. Fun colors. Do you frost yours? I leave mine unfrosted until time to eat. Though sometimes I leave them entirely unfrosted and eat them as is. num num num.

  2. Thanks! The trouble with frosting is they become inedibly sweet. I used creme freche but that made them sour, so now I have them plain and simple.

  4. I like plain and simple, too. Though I make Tim a light organic vanilla cream cheese frosting, that he digs. And sometimes I'll put Nutella on mine.

  6. Oh nutella! The history behind that stuff is quite fascinating. It was invented because chocolate tax was too expensive in Italy, so the owner created a hazelnut/cocoa mixture instead. Eureka!
