Apricot Crumble and Raspberry Mille Fieulle

This was far from a dissapointment! The layers were compressed nicely into almost a smooth wafer.
The raspberry had a lovely bitter taste.
The apricot was nice and congealed.

And the crumble was...well...crumbly!

  1. Happy New Year, to you as well. Looking forward to more of your photos. It is great fun taking them. I just shot some of our back deck. A big thing of ice came down last night, crushed right over the coolers.

Just got some writing done, now it's off to the showers. Happy 2011. Great to to meet you. I enjoy our exchanges.

  2. Thank you very much :) I am so glad to have found a fellow blogger who also photographs food!

I hope the snow has let up in the States for New Year! I'll post some snows pictures I took a few weeks ago for you to see next week!

Take care and Happy New Year!

    :)

  3. Yes, it's melted a lot the last day or two. We live in the snowbelt and it's like having a heat wave.

Getting some dishes done and then to the market for bok choy. Making chicken and bok choy soup later today. Num num num.

  4. Sounds delicious! I love soup especially ministroni.

The market where I photograph sometimes (Borough Market) is very friendly and don't mind if people photograph their stalls.

It's getting dark now. It should be New Year in about 12 hours. The fireworks outside are usually nice.

    Have fun shopping :)

  5. I had a nice morning to the market. Though the bok choy, not as nice as it could have been. Thankfully, I managed to get enough good bits for my levish (soup), and that's pretty cool.

It's nice that your market doesn't mind pictures. That must be a lot of fun.

  6. Borough Market near London Bridge is the most famous one in London. It's actually relatively quite small but very concentrated! Do you have any famous markets in the States?
