Seafood

Living on an island does have its benefits in terms of the wide selection of readily available seafood.
Crabs from the English Channel, cod from the Atlantic, scallops from the North Sea and mussles from the Irish Sea.

A mollusc's shell is such a patterned work of art.

  1. Sadly seafood doesn't like my wife (she likes it but the results are disasterous!) so we never have it anymore.
Did you get a spike in views the other day? I linked your blog on my FB page.

  3. I used to live on the east coast and we had so much fresh seafood. I do miss that. But, I've found a smoked salmon from a market near by that's rather tasty. Yum.

    Happy Eating :-)

  5. Me, too. It's just so good. I love it on one of my homemade bagels, with cream cheese. What a wonderful combination.
